Marghuerita was born in the Netherlands. Her family lived in Java before WWII. Marghuerita’s mother had suffered during her internment in Japanese Camps during WWII, after several years of living in the Netherlands, her Dutch physician recommended that the family move to a warm climate, because her health was worsening. The family moved to Southern California in 1957.
After marriage, Marghuerita and her husband moved to Las Vegas and started several construction businesses. After 30 years in Las Vegas, those businesses brought them to Florida, where Marghuerita currently resides. During the years in Las Vegas, Marghuerita was involved in many organizations, which has given her the experience needed to help TIP in various ways. Margherita hopes to use her years of experience in writing, speaking, organizational skills, and years of experience in acting, to bring awareness of the Indo culture and people to the younger Indo generations and other people groups who have no knowledge of the Indo people and culture.
I am humbled and honored to be invited to be a more integral part of TIP, I hope to become an asset to this wonderful organization.
