Give to The Indo Project through an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution or Beneficiary Designation.

Your support of our mission is critical. Consider supporting The Indo Project, a qualified public charity, by increasing your impact and potentially lowering your taxable income this year.

If you are age 70 ½ or older, you can give to The Indo Project through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) through your Individual Retirement Account (IRA). In 2025, you can give as little as $1 or as much as $108,000 to charity through QCDs.

For individuals age 73 and older, giving to a qualified public charity like The Indo Project with a QCD may count towards your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and may lower your taxable income.*

The amount you designate to give from your IRA goes directly to The Indo Project tax-free, maximizing your impact to support the work of The Indo Project.

Many donors also choose to amplify their impact by designating a charity, such as The Indo Project, as a beneficiary of their IRA – often reserving more tax efficient assets for their heirs.*

Please contact your IRA administrator to make a gift via a QCD to The Indo Project. To ensure that we properly acknowledge your gift of a QCD or beneficiary designation, please notify us that you have made a gift through your IRA by writing to christiaan.westerkamp@theindoproject.org. We’d be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
