  1. My Dad (L.F.C. van der Werff) and brother-in-law (Eduard Camphuisen) sufferd long years, but by the grace of the Almighty survived the ordeal. Both of them did not want to talk about it. Saw my Dad come back after inital treatment at the “Johore State Hospital”, in present day Malaysia. From there he was transferred to a hospital in Batavia (Jakarta).
